Running Am-UK with Baby Venom: Pre-Tour-Natural
Everyone welcome Dave, Sarah and Nathan of Baby Venom. They’ll be doing some guest tour-blogging while they head over to the UK. I’ve taken the liberty of cheesily naming their column “Running Am-UK.” Enjoy!

Is there something wrong with the mp3s? Either Baby Venom’s gone 1920’s-lofi or there’s something the matter.
that’s baby venom all right. nothing wrong with the mp3s.
Actually…these sound like our cassettes are melting. The buzzing and warbling actually does sound kind of cool, but these don’t sound the same as the original mp3s that were up here a few months back.
FIXED.
you guys used a non-standard sample rate (48kHz) that was incompatible with our streaming player.
“Moms and Dads” sounds so similar to something µ-Ziq would do. Obviously, Natan’s drums aren’t programmed, but they retain that glitchy twee element.
Natal has rather currrrvy hips, don’t ya think?
Nathan — hope all is great. But payday — what do we do with your May 27th check? — judith
