I think the stage presence of Editors was better than their actual music. If they just lip-synced to Interpol it would've been just as good, and that guitarist would've been just as moody, slightly troubled, and cardigan wearing. I'm just glad Hot Hot Heat was so good and Louis XVI was so drunk and... watching Wheel of Fortune. That was a good show we went to for us back then.
